I have been a cooking and christmas fan for as long as I can remember. I have always loved the smell of freshly baked cookies and the excitement of the holidays. I love walking over the local christmas markets in the city during this time of the year and watch out for small trinkets I can buy to remember them by. I have always loved snow and can't wait for the first one to fall every year. Sitting back with a hot chocolate and watching the snow fall outside my window. I love to come home after a stressing day at work and relax. Relaxing after a hard day at work means retreating back into the kitchen and making a nice meal for me and my small family. Just enjoying some time for me with good ingredients and the nice smells of a freshly cooked meal.
I have always tried to copy the meals I have seen on TV or in the Restaurants I have visited. Over the years I have experimented and I have failed a lot but in the end I have become a better cook. I won't claim I am anything special but I stil love my food and to cook on a daily basis. During my times in London I have spent a lot of time riding the tube home, while reading up on recipes trying to find new ones to try. I have always kept a little journal of my own personal favorites on my computer.
I hope I can share some of my love for holidays, food, recipes, desserts in particular as well as small gifts and trinkets with you and hope you find them as enjoyable as I do.
